About our club
The Forty Plus Cycling Club is a sociable cycle club and our members are aged from 40 (or under) to their late 90s. We have about 800 members in sixteen active sections in Bedfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, East Northamptonshire, Surrey and Sussex. Each section organises rides between one and three times a week. We welcome all those seeking a friendly club to ride with, whether experienced cyclist, returnee or relative newcomer.
Most of our rides are mid-week but some sections offer Sunday rides. Full details and rides programme can be found on the club website www.fortypluscc.co.uk
You can come out and try our rides a few times, before joining. You are welcome to join for all or part of the ride, or meet us at lunch.
Our rides are within reach of some 40% of English cyclists. Please contact the club secretary if you would like to form a new section in your area.
