Round 2 - Dalby Forest Promoted by BC Events Elite Races UCI Class 1
Voted the best World Cup course in 2010 by the UCI, Dalby Forest returns for a third year. The only World Cup venue on the calendar, the venue provides the biggest physical and technical challenge of the series.
Access: The course and arena are within the forest toll road area. The toll is waived for pre-entered riders and officials. Any tollbooth official should have a list of riders and officials but it is suggested that you print off your entry confirmation and take it with you to help avoid any possible delays.
Fun/Open races - Saturday: Due to the issue above it is strongly recommended that riders pre-enter. Pre-entry for these races only will be extended to 12 midnight on Wednesday 18th April to assist this.
Parking: Please park in the area designated for the event. Other parts of the Forest remain open to the public throughout the weekend.
Camping: The campsite is available from 3 pm on Friday 20th April. Camping is free in the designated area adjacent to the event arena. The camping area must be vacated by 6 pm on the Sunday evening.
Cross Country Eliminator. This is scheduled to take place on the Saturday evening of each National Series round, based on the event arena. The event is open to any rider entered for the Sunday series events of junior age or older. There is an entry fee of £5, payable on the day. Riders may pre-register by e-mailing mtb@britishcycling.org.uk up to 12 noon Thursday 19th April. Riders may also register on the day.
