In a sundrenched Gorey on the east coast of Jersey, Rapha Condor JLT were crowned 2014 Pearl Izumi Tour Series champions.
While a long time coming, the victory was momentous on several counts - firstly the squad became the first team in the series' six year history to win the title for a second time; John Herety joins Keith Lambert as only the second manager to win the title twice; and Ed Clancy becomes the first rider to win the Series on four occasions, having been in the victorious line-ups in 2009, 2010 and 2011, plus this year.
For the race, on a tough and technical circuit around Gorey, it was Madison Genesis' Tom Stewart who took his second win of the week, both solo victories, heading home Raleigh's Morgan Kniesky, after attacking from a ten rider group.
Adding to Stewart's individual glory was another team win for the Madison Genesis team.
Jon Mould of NFTO Pro Cycling sealed the sprints Jersey, while there was first Costa Express Fastest Lap for Germain Burton of the Great Britain squad.
