Today Scottish Cycling, the national governing body for cycling in Scotland, announced that tickets are now on sale for the Scottish Cycling National Track Championships.
Throughout three days of competition, 17 -19 October, the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome will again play host to the championships, which forms part of the £113million Emirates Arena, where riders will have the chance to compete for the acclaimed Scottish Championship titles. Some of the titles on offer include; Sprint, Team sprint and Keirin, Pursuits, Points races and Time Trials.
Scottish cycling stars, present and future, including some of our Commonwealth Games Cycling Team, will descend on the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome for the first major competitive event since the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
Craig Burn, Chief Executive of Scottish Cycling, the national governing body for cycling in Scotland said: “It’s fantastic that the Scottish Cycling National Track Championships is set to return to the Sir Chris Hoy velodrome for 2014. It will be one of the first opportunities for spectators to join us at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome after the success of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
"Scottish Cycling is committed to developing the sport at every level and we are delighted that we are able to invite cycling fans from all over the country to join us for this great event.”

The Scottish National Track Championships will take place from 17 - 19 October at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Glasgow. Tickets are now on general sale from the Glasgow Concert Halls Box Office, however for a limited period spectators can also get up to 50% off tickets through Groupon.
