British Cycling is delighted to announce the 2025 Elite Development Teams. These teams continue to play a vital role in nurturing young talent and developing the next generation of professional riders. Through dedicated support, structured race programmes, and innovative development initiatives, these teams provide the perfect platform for riders to grow, compete, and succeed on the national and international stage.
First launched in 2021, our Elite Development Team status helps bridge the gap from club teams to UCI Continental level. As an Elite Development Team, each team is guaranteed eight rider entries into all National Road Series and National Circuit Series races, offered promotion of their social media channels and team websites on the British Cycling website, and receive support in the form of education and training workshops.

All of us here at British Cycling were devastated to learn of the tragic loss of Aidan Worden from 360cycling. A promising young talent and incredibly valued friend and teammate, there is no doubt this loss will be felt deeply by the whole cycling community. As a mark of respect and recognition of his hard work, Aidan’s name remains on the list of riders. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
