Twenty3c-Orbea has announced the new signing of top ranked 2011 youth mountain bike rider Alice Barnes.
Barnes, a member of the British Cycling mountain bike Olympic Development Programme, will represent the team in the British Cycling National Cross Country Series and national championships, as well as criterium races throughout the season after moving up to junior this year.
“Alice is a great new addition to the Twenty3c – Orbea and its team sponsors representing the squad across a number of disciplines,” said Ceri Dipple, team manager for Twenty3c – Orbea.
“As a member of the British Cycling MTB Olympic Development Programme we know that Alice has a bright future ahead of her will be doing extremely well in the coming months.”
The full team roster of ten riders for the Twenty3c – Orbea racing squad is: Lewis Atkins, Alice Barnes, Clem Berrill, Ceri Dipple, Rhys Howells, James Jackson, Dan Kogan, Andy Lyons, Dean Shannon, Wojciech Szlachta.
The team will all come together to prepare for the start of the 2012 racing season at the team training camp in Majorca, Spain during February.
