Men's Omnium, Men's Madison, Women's Team Pursuit, Men's Team Sprint, Women’s Team Sprint -- Great Britain win Gold in Men’s Team Sprint and Silver in Women’s Team Sprint on Day 1 of the Melbourne round of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup. DAY 2 REPORT - Friday, December 3, 2010
Women's Omnium, Women's Sprint, Men's Keirin, Men's Omnium -- On day 2 of the action in Melbourne, there were medals of all colours for GB riders with Hoy triumphant in the Keirin, Pendleton finishing with Silver in the Women’s Sprint and Clancy getting a Bronze in the Omnium. Video Highlights
DAY 3 REPORT - Saturday, December 4, 2010
Men's Sprint, Women's Keirin, Women's Omnium, Men's Team Pursuit, Women's 500m Time Trial -- The final day of the Melbourne Track Cycling World Cup, the first of four this winter, saw two more medals for the British team, Silver for Jason Kenny in the Sprint and Bronze for the GB Team Pursuit riders.
GB Medal tally after final event:
Gold: 2 (Sir Chris Hoy in the Keirin and Men's Team Sprint (Matt Crampton, Jason Kenny and Sir Chris Hoy)
Silver: 3 (Victoria Pendleton in the Women's Sprint, Jason Kenny in the Men's Sprint, and Women's Team Sprint with Victoria Pendleton and Jess Varnish)
Bronze: 2 (Ed Clancy in the Omnium and Men's Team Pursuit with Ed Clancy, Andrew Tennant, Luke Rowe, and Steven Burke)
