Gee and Rachel Atherton won a weather-disrupted round two of the 2015 British Cycling MTB Downhill Series in Fort William.
Following two days of uplift closures and inclement conditions, the decision was taken to shorten the track, in order for the race to still go ahead.
Starting from the wall ride feature Gee completed the course in 1:20.780, beating Sam Dale into second place. His second win of the season, Atherton heads the standings.
Sister Rachel was equally dominant in the women’s event, beating Tahnee Seagrave and winner of the opening round, Manon Carpenter.
After a highly unusal track, riders took to social media to offer their take on the weekend.
Awesome feeling to take the win at the second round of the British series today, was good to get some… https://t.co/iQ86MlmaWl

Weather wasn't playing ball for us this weekend. Raced on lower section of track - 1 and half minute sprint! 3rd place with tight times...
