About our club
Based in Bury St Edmunds and formed in 1922, West Suffolk Wheelers is a welcoming and friendly cycling and triathlon club. If you’re just getting into cycling for fitness or a race hardened triathlete, you’ll find something for you and plenty of like minded individuals to help you achieve your goals.
There are activities and events on nearly every day of the week and a thriving community to welcome you. We offer a “try before you buy” policy, so feel free to come along to one of our regular activities to see how you like us.
We have a good cross-section of cycling and triathlon related activities on offer to welcome new and experienced members alike. If you wish to learn bike handling skills for on and/or off-road cycling our members have the knowledge and experience to teach you. The Club is proud of its development work with young people, and we have coaches to guide new cyclists and triathletes in their training. We are active in all areas of cycling and triathlon including: Road Racing, Time Trials, Track Racing, Club Runs,Touring, Audax, Sportive, Mountain Biking, Cyclo-Cross, Triathlon and Duathlon.
