About our club
The BG&E Cycling Club is based in Exeter, Devon and offers cyclists the opportunity to take part in regular club rides, social rides, and sportives. We pride ourselves in offering something unique on the Exeter Cycling Scene. The club was originally founded by Howmet employees in Exeter. It is now open to members from all over Exeter and the surrounding area. Our membership for 2023/24 season was just over 90 members. We have all made great friends from the club.
Our Club welcomes all those over 18 yrs old (under 18 if with a responsible adult). Members enjoy the social aspect as much as the cycling, and we have lots of great events throughout the year to take part in both on, and off the saddle. So if you are interested please contact us we'd like to hear from you.
We have regular club rides on Sunday mornings (0830 depart CWBE), and our Thursday evenings social ride (1730pm depart CWBE) and once a member these are generally organised on our 2 facebook pages, one for official business and one for general banter. We also have an instagram page and a strava page.
