About our club
The Cappuccino Cycling Club was established in 2009 by a group of cycling friends living in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
The aim of the club is to enjoy and promote road cycling in one of the most beautiful areas of the country and to do this in a friendly and enjoyable environment.
We are primarily road cyclists (drop-bar) and a typical run out will involve a route from Harrogate, which will normally be around 50 miles on our Sunday Club Run, and most of the time does involve stopping off at a cafe to recharge our batteries with coffee and cakes. Don’t worry if you think you are too slow, we always wait for the slowest rider.
When numbers allow we have two riding groups:
Steady Group - 14-15mph average
Medium Group - 16-17mph average
Faster Group - 18-20mph average
We normally ride 4 times a week on a Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and meeting details are:
Meeting point is outside Harrogate Squash and Fitness Club, Harrogate.
Saturday morning at 8.30am. Winter weekend rides during December-February start at 9.00am.
Sunday morning at 9.00am.
Tuesday & Thursday evening at 7.30pm
There is often a "100 club" ride on a Saturday.
All club rides continue throughout the year.
