About our club
Welcome to Surrey Cycling Club – Your Road Cycling Community in South East England
Surrey Cycling Club is a vibrant, inclusive hub for cyclists of all abilities. Founded in September 2020, we’ve grown to over 160 active members united by a passion for road cycling. Whether you enjoy social rides or aim to race, our club offers a dynamic blend of community and competition.
A Club for Everyone
We welcome cyclists aged 18 to 72, from novices to seasoned riders. With six groups (G1 to G6), there’s a perfect fit for every pace and skill level. Men and women ride together in a supportive community, enjoying a variety of rides each week. We offer non drop, drop, non stop, or rides with a stop, ensuring options for all preferences.
Club & Social Rides with a Racing Edge
Our club or social rides build camaraderie, while our Race Team, formed in 2024 from within the club, competes in local and national events. If you’re keen to race for us in Cat 4, 3, 2, or Time Trials, we have a supportive team ready to help you shine.

Rides Planned with Precision
Rain or shine, we ride. With over 150 routes to choose from, we plan rides in advance using Strava, sharing maps, distances, elevation, and speeds. Join Strava (free) to stay connected and track your rides. Members can become Ride Captains, either regularly or as a one off, gaining credibility and popularity among peers by posting regular rides. Experienced members are encouraged to lead, and we reward those who contribute to the club’s growth.
