With this year’s cycle speedway season approaching, British Cycling has confirmed the discipline’s calendar of national level events.
National championships
This year’s HSBC UK | Cycle Speedway Championships will take place over the weekend of 24-26 August, with individual national champions crowned across the categories in East Anglia venues including Norwich, Ipswich, Kesgrave and Great Blakenham:
24 August: Norwich: U8/U10/U12/U14
25 August: Ipswich: Open SF/Vets
25 August: Kesgrave: Open SF/Girls/U18
26 August: Great Blakenham: Open F/U16/Women
Further club titles will be contested over the subsequent month:
31 August: Poole: U12/U14/Junior Club Championships
14 September: Leicester: Women/Over 40s/U16 Girls Club Championships
22 September: Astley & Tyldesley: KO Cup Play-off Final
28 September: Wednesfield: Open/U16 Boys Club Championships
HSBC UK | Elite Grand Prix Series
This year’s series will get underway in Exeter on 13 April, and thereafter will visit Hull, Great Blakenham and Wednesfield:

Round 3, 26 June: Great Blakenham
Round 4, 7 September: Wednesfield
Supertrax Women’s League
The 2019 Supertrax Women’s League will begin at Astley and Tyldesley and conclude in Coventry:

Round 4, 29 September: Coventry

Three cycle speedway regions will do battle this year over six rounds of the 2019 Supertrax Battle of Britain:

Round 3, 9 June, Hethersett: SE&E v N&S
Round 4, 14 July, Hull: N&S v Mids
Round 5, 18 August, Leicester: Mids v SE&E
