This weekend (8-9 January) Britain’s best cycle speedway riders will descend on the Sports Connexion Centre in Coventry for the British Indoor Cycle Speedway Championships.
Indoor cycle speedway racing is fast, furious and incredibly unpredictable. With riders banking their bikes at ridiculous angles around the track’s tight corners it’s a great spectacle supported by a really strong entry list of riders and teams. Here’s everything you need to know.
Can I come to watch?
Yes, spectators are welcome to attend and there is no charge. A number of Covid-19 mitigation measures are in place, which mean that all spectators are required to take a lateral flow test prior to attending and must wear a face covering at all times while in the building.
The full address for the venue is Sports Connexion, Leamington Road, Ryton On Dunsmore, Coventry, CV8 3FL.
