Roger Ellis Invitation Meeting

Chris Timms, Lee Aris and Chris Jewkes collect their trophies

Lee Aris (East Park Wolves) took the spoils away from Chris Timms(Birmingham) in the Roger Ellis Senior Invitation Cycle Speedway meeting held at East Park.

The meeting saw fast and hard-fought racing throughout a sun drenched evening with riders eager to earn a place in a grand prix final heat.

In the final Aris stormed away from grid 1 and proved too strong on the night with Timms runner up, Chris Jewkes(Wednesfield) third and Sandwell's Russ Evans bringing up the rear.
