The 2011 National Cyclo-Cross Championships saw the best riders in the country battle it out at Derby's Moorways Leisure Centre. Over two days and eight races, national titles were decided from Youth to Veteran. Check out our reports, images, interviews and video from the weekend's action.
DAY 1: Veteran +50 | Youth U14 | Youth U16 | Veteran 40-49
The opening day of the 2011 Nationals saw a packed schedule of four races with Youth and Veteran champions crowned. The first day of racing on an increasingly muddy course saw dominant performances from Nick Craig and Steven Davies in the day's two Vet races, while first year U14 rider Charlotte Broughton's runaway win was the standout performance from the Youth action. DAY 2: Under 23 | Women | Junior | Senior
The second day saw runaway victories, crashes and inspiring performances from beginning to end. Helen Wyman claimed a record sixth title, while Paul Oldham bagged his first Senior Men's title. First year junior Hugo Robinson made light work of the Junior title and Luke Gray was similarly a class apart in the U23 race. We've got full reports, results, and images.
