British Cycling joins forces with LimbPower to drive inclusive cycling for people with limb difference.

British Cycling is delighted to announce a new partnership with LimbPower, the charity supporting amputees and individuals with limb difference, to enhance opportunities for disability-inclusive cycling.

As part of this collaboration, the two organisations will work together to encourage more people with limb difference to experience the benefits of cycling. A key and exciting element of this collaboration is the recruitment of a dedicated LimbPower Limitless Ambassador to inspire riders and facilitate opportunities to cycle. The partnership kicked off with an exciting event on 16 February 2025 at the National Cycling Centre, the home of British Cycling, where children and young people with limb difference had the opportunity to try the thrill of track cycling.

British Cycling will provide resources and support to LimbPower, ensuring a seamless connection between the charity and the cycling community, while LimbPower will bring its expertise and networks to the table, expanding the reach and impact of the Limitless programme. Together, the organisations aim to break down barriers and create a more inclusive cycling landscape.

Keira Roach, CEO of LimbPower, said:
"We’re thrilled to partner with British Cycling on this groundbreaking collaboration. Cycling is a fantastic sport that offers freedom, fitness, and confidence, and we’re committed to ensuring that individuals with limb difference have the opportunity to experience these benefits. This partnership, supported by our new LimbPower Limitless Ambassador, will help more people realise their potential through cycling while fostering a stronger sense of community and inclusion."

Lyndsey Hollands, National Disability Manager for British Cycling, said:
"This partnership with LimbPower is an exciting step in our mission to make cycling truly inclusive. LimbPower’s dedication to supporting people with limb difference perfectly aligns with our goals for the Limitless programme, and together we can create opportunities for everyone to enjoy cycling, regardless of ability. The February event at the National Cycling Centre will be the perfect start to what we’re sure will be a long-lasting and impactful collaboration."
