Event Summary

Event Overview

Finally……………. A flat Polocini ride. We've caved in to rider demand.

The Tour De France will have just finished. The Sun will be shining (er, maybe) so what better time than to head out on a Polocini ride.

But what is an Affogato you may ask??? It’s only the perfect summer time post ride pick me up. Recovery shakes?? Nah, the Affogato translates in Italian as ‘drowned’ and is vanilla ice cream topped with a shot of espresso.

We do have a reputation for the hillier sportive however we really do listen and have planned a great 65mile/104km route taking in as many quiet lanes as possible.

The feed station is manned by our friends www.meccanicacycles.com and is located at the exact half way point of the ride.

Included in the entry fee is a pre ride porridge pot, post ride BBQ and mini Affogato.

Please visit www.polocini.com/the-affogato/ for full event information.
