About the Event
Info for Riders
Widely considered to be the premier road cycling sportive in the region, the White Rose Classic offers three challenging routes which will take you through the heart of the stunning Yorkshire Dales, taking in some of the iconic climbs which make the area a mecca for road cyclists. All routes start and end in Ilkley and none are to be taken lightly! The short route (50miles/80km/+1447m) takes in the climbs of Norwood Edge and West End en-route to Grassington, returning along the picturesque Wharfedale valley. The medium route (84miles/135km/+2357m) heads on from Grassington, along Littondale to Halton Gill before heading south to the notorious climb out of Settle and returning via Wharfedale. The epic long route (115miles/183km/+3305m) is right up there with any of the Etape du Tour routes! Add on Fleet Moss on the way to Hawes and the Coal Road from Garsdale Head towards Dent and you have a ride never to be forgotten. Which will you be ready for?
