A modern twist to the Reliability Trial: The Selfie Challenge, organised by Clwb Beicio Dwyfor to raise much needed funds to develop the next generation of cyclists, will consist of 2 challenging routes of 80km and 110km around the Lleyn Peninsula.

There will be no timing, no support crew, no fancy feed stations, no goody bags and no hefty price tag....just you, your bike, good company, a map and the scenic country lanes of the Lleyn Peninsula! Oh, and a £6 entry fee which will go to support and develop young riders in our club (£1.20 levy goes to BC for insurance).

There will be cafes and shops along the route should you wish to replenish supplies, but there won't be any checkpoints in the traditional sense; The 'checkpoints' will be in the form of a 'selfie' (photo of yourself) taken at 3 key spots during your ride (revealed on the day). The best set of 'selfies' uploaded to the event's Facebook page will win a prize!

At the end of your epic ride, the ladies of Pwllheli hockey club will provide a hot meal and refreshments for a small fee to raise money for their club. Your support will be most welcomed!

Riders will need to ensure they are back at the club by 2:30pm at the latest.
