About the Event

Info for Riders

The new Hill Billy Backwards route incorporates 'Gun Hill', part of the Tour of Britain, you will be grinding the crank arms up the Dumbers and the infamous Mow Cop Climb. Some lovely views as you ride past Rudyard Lake. Some tough climbs to the top of Biddulph Moor. The route has an overall climb of 5000ft with some beautiful views of the Staffordshire Moorlands. We have a friendly half way fuelling point, where you can take aboard fuel bars and top your bottles up. When you arrive back at the HQ there will be food and drink available at very reasonable cyclist's prices. I hope you really enjoy this wonderful ride, whether you are a keen cyclist or every day cyclist this Sportive is a great ride.
