Exeter Wheelers Rockbeare Road Race will be on the same 11km circuit on the outskirts of Exeter as previous years.  We are promoting a men’s 3/4 event starting at 10am followed by a separate women’s 80km E1234 race at 1.30pm. The women’s event is the penultimate round of the South West Women’s Road Race Series.

The course is an undulating mix of fast former A roads and twisty country lanes. It will appeal to a wide variety of riders and with the right peleton can yield a very interesting race.

Riders for all Exeter Wheelers road races are selected by the organiser using the following selection criteria in line with BC recommendations; 1. Competent promoting club riders 2. Competent SW riders 3. Competent riders from outside the SW 4. Inexperienced riders. Points from this year’s results should be considered as a good indicator of competency in this season. Priority may be given to competent team entries. Riders will be selected after the closing date and we endeavour to inform riders of their selection as soon as possible after this date.
