Derby Velodrome Women & Girls Rider Development Session

Event Overview

This coaching event is designed to promote Women & Girls into Track racing. All the techniques and skills learnt on the day will help to develop riders in all forms of bike riding. The session is split into three ability groups outlined as follows:

Beginners Groups - This session is degined for new comers to the velodrome and will gradually and safely introduce riders to track riding. 

Novice group - This is designed for riders with little track experience and will focus on further developing the basics of track riding. This session is designed for riders who have previously managed to ride above the blue line on track and have ridden in a line with other riders.

Intermediate Group - This session is aimed at riders with more than 4 hours track time who are confident and competent enough to ride in line and change position in the line.
