UPDATE: Entries have closed with 202 across all the categories. There will be no Entry on the Day.

Masters are riders who are 30 years of age and upwards - including those who are currently 29 but will be 30 by 31 December 2016. The National Masters Criterium Champs are open to all Masters riders (Male or Female) with a full BC licence with the UCI prefix GBR. Subject to the number of entries received, there will be separate races per 5 year age group, however we reserve the right to merge age groups if necessary - each age group will have its own results. For Women, we are currently showing two races - aged 30-40 and 40+. We also reserve the right to amend the race scheduling and/or to run races concurrently - entrants will be notified prior to race day if their race time has been amended. Races will be between 60 and 90 minutes long depending on age group.

Subject to wet weather, we will be using the extended lower MK Bowl circuit, with an initial 20-25 minutes on the inner circuit. (Please note that we are constrained on using the upper loop on Friday evening and Saturday until 1300 by the regular Car Auction).

Race HQ will be the "Clubhouse" plus additional portaloos. This provides basic changing rooms and showers - separet facilities for Women. Car Parking will only be in the outer perimiter of The Bowl, in the East Car Park (straight on as you enter The Bowl). Regulars at The Bowl will know this as the large field in the middle of the upper circuit.

We recognise that Ride London is on the day after, however as these are only 60-90 minute races, we have taken the view that it should not overly affect entries. Indeed if you are travelling from the North or the Midlands to take part in Ride London, why not stop off in Milton Keynes on your way down, and take part in a National Championship. 

For clarity on the entry page, Masters A+ = A&B = 30-39 years of age; C+ = 40-44 years of age;

Women A&B = 30-39 years of age; Women C+ = all other age groups aged 40 and above.

We will be keeping entries open as long as possible. There will be an initial close, in accordance with rules of entry for a National Championship (28 days before), at 0800 on 2 July when, if we are oversubscribed, the best fields will be chosen. Thereafter, entries will be on a first come first served basis up to 0900 on 25 July at a £5 premium. If we decide to then allow EOD, it will be at a £10 premium - but do not assume that EOD will be available. Note that field size for each race is limited to 60.

Note that for each age group, a minimum field of 3 is required for a Championship (with Jersey and gold medal). If 3 is not achieved you will be consolidated in to the next younger age group. With 5 or more riders in an age group, there will be a Jersey and 3 medals.

Licence points will be awarded to each age group, however if there are 10 or less signed on riders for an age group points will only be awarded to the first three - 3/2/1 points.
