The original and super popular Tour of Cornfields returns for 2017! Organised by the team that runs London's Beastway series and cyclocross races for LVYCC in the Eastern League cyclocross.

Suitable for gravel bikes, cyclo-cross, MTB, hybrids and sturdy road bikes, this is 100km off-road and on-road route around the beautiful S Cambs, Huntingdon and Beds countryside.  

Now with a higher proportion of the route off-road, the 2017 version ranges more widely on byways and bridleways to take in even more countryside between Cambridge, Royston and Biggleswade. Online routes for previous editions are all out of date. Entrants will receive route info on the eve of our event.

Starting and finishing in the National Trust's Wimpole Estate this is an excellent end of road season or beginning of the cyclo-cross season event and it's as relaxed as you want to make it. We offer a lovely refreshment stop at half-way. Kiosks, cafes and restaurants abound at Wimpole Hall where there is ample safe dedicated parking.

Many riders choose to bring the whole family as Wimpole is a great place to stay and play all day while riders do their thing.

100km loop with 30% on road and 70% off-road on a mix of byways, bridleways and lanes in the fine gently rolling countryside of S Cambs starting from National Trust's Wimpole Hall Estate with dedicated event parking (£2 to non-members, redeemable for refreshments).

Suitable for gravel bike, MTB, cyclo-cross, sturdy road bike or hybrid. Unsupported but with a superb half-way tea and rest stop. 50km option if requested. Starts from 9 - 9.30am. A friendly ride just before the 'cross season gets going. Event has been running since 2006, now with a greatly improved start/finish venue and a wider-ranging loop.
