Now in its 5th year, Fete du Velo is a popular local event held in the quiet village of Redbourn on closed roads around the village green. The actual Fete Du Velo event will have regional British Cycling events happening all day.

In addition Go-Ride racing is primarily for u16s who want to try out racing in an entry level competition. A specially designed off-road course provides fun cyclo-cross racing for all abilities.

The events have a very friendly appeal and the previous years have always been a sell out.

British Cycling racing license is not required as this event is primarily aimed at novice riders.

A separate off road area will be created within the main Fete area containing a race course suitable for 6 - 16 year olds.

Any suitable off road bike is necessary as well as helmet and gloves.

The exact course details will be announced closer to the date.
