The Festival has been in existence for the last 8 years after a gap of 20 years. The location of the circuit overlooks the seaside town of Scarborough and is famous for the motorcycle road races that have been promoted there since the 50's. We benefit from the use of a 'quiet' day to offset the noise of the motorcycle days. Unless you have ridden the full circuit, it is hard to describe but is unlike anything else used for Youth and Junior races, hence the shorter times for races. It is however, not for the faint hearted as the first edition proved. It remains though, a true hard circuit to test the future stars of cycle racing for another year. Are you ready for it again? 2018 will see the last event for Organiser Pete Sutton as he heads for his pension in September!, thus he has taken on  for his final event the third round of the inaugural Womens Junior Series running alongside the Youth National Circuit Championships. The event will have full HSBC backing and branding.Timing chips will be used again this year. Don't forget the Hill Climb during the afternoon break and the extra time for the afternoon racers to try the circuit. Don't forget also, Saturday 7th has the Sportive in the morning followed by Go Ride & Karts for the kids and the Yorkshire Cyclo Cross Association CX races from 1pm. Info for Riders

2 days of events: Sportive & Cyclo Cross on Saturday 7th on Olivers Mount and Circuit Races on Sunday 8th, again at Oliver's Mount. Also a CTT Hillclimb at 1215pm Sunday, again at Olivers Mount. All Sunday  races can accept 120 riders plus reserves due to size of circuit which can accommodate a larger field than normal. ALL EVENTS ARE PRE-ENTRY ONLY! Camping/Caravans/Motorhomes on top field Friday / Saturday / Sunday. (Note- no egress from campsite from 9am-end of racing on Sunday-road closed for racing only) Note: All youth races will have laps on the iconic full motorcycle circuit (2.4m/4.1km) which involves dropping off the top circuit ridge onto the full motorcycle circuit and back up again. This is unlike anything else in the country,you have been warned! Both circuits are open roads for all but 6 days a year and are closed at our expense for the day, hence the slightly higher entry cost. U8/U10 Youth riders will be catered for by Go Ride Racing, in line with the new regulations for National events. Nearly £2000 in prizes, so be there to get in the money!
