Event Overview

U14 and U16 boys and girls match sprint ladder. There will be 2 groups of 16 riders, group selection and seeding will be based on track league positions but all riders welcome to enter. Each match sprint will be for 4 riders (hence 4 groups per ladder) Note there is a maximum of 32 riders across all categories, entry first come first served

No disc or deep section (50mm+) wheels will be allowed in any of the categories

About the Event

Info for Riders

Sign on will open at 5:30pm with a track warm up at 6:00pm. Racing starts at 6:30. Riders will be allocated a ladder and put in a group of 4 riders based on track league results. All riders should get 5 rides. In each round, the 1st and 2nd placed riders move up a group, 3rd and 4th placed riders move down a group. Riders must be members of the Derby Arena Youth Track League Non riders and supporters are asked to use the stands to encourage rider independance. Club coaches may ask, at signing on, for permission to be with riders. Riders and their guardians will be asked to read and sign the Youth Track League Code of Conduct.
