The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride is a 70 mile sponsored charity cycle ride from Wetherby to Filey. Now in it's 36th year it has proved to be one of the most popular, successful and highly regarded rides in the country. Open to all ages and abilities, the ride takes in a fantastic route across the best of Yorkshire to the coast at Filey. We offer full support and medical services, 4 drink stops and lunch at the half way point.

This event relies on the generosity of both our very kind sponsors and of course you wonderful riders to continue putting on this annual event and supporting our chosen charities.

Rider packs will be mailed out March/April.

Please note that this event is run as a joint co-operation between the Event Organisers and the recipient charities who supply an army of marshals and helpers. We couldn't run the ride without them. As such, all riders taking part will be expected to make a donation to the sponsor money fund for the charities. Online fundraising will open soon. Thanks

Info for Riders

Riders who wish to enter the 2019 Great Yorkshire Bike Ride can purchase an entry of add return transport for rider and cycle back to the start in Wetherby for an addiitional fee. Transport is limited, is offered on a first-come, first-booked basis. The transport option cannot be added to your entry after registration.
