About the Event
Info for Riders
Starting and finishing in Wooler, Gateway to The Cheviots, The Wooler Wheel takes you on a circular tour through stunning scenery and challenging climbs. A cycle ride to be remembered through 8,000 years of history within beautiful Glendale, North Northumberland. It has a total ascent of 1495m and will appeal to the serious cyclist as well as the first time sportive rider. No minimum age on the 100k and the 50k but parental consent forms are required for under 18’s and under 16’s. Under 16s must also accompany an adult rider who must supervise and staty with them throughout the whole ride. Consent forms will be sent out by the event organiser and should be handed in at registration. Please make sure that any under 18’s are capable of completing the route. Helmets are compulsory for this event and no tri or aero bars are allowed.
