Event Overview

Event promoted by the British Cycling talent development team in partnership with Pine Sport/Mountain Bike Clinic and regional British Cycling staff.  

Development Centres support riders with their first step on the talent pathway as well as current riders who have been engaged in RSR and Apprentice programmes.  Online entry is used to support the tracking of riders through the pathway.

Development Centre Session - Junior/Youth A/B riders only.  Sessions will focus on higher level skills development, race fitness, race tactics and race craft and will be supplemented by occasional workshops/forums (training, diet, bike maintenance etc.)

Club Cluster Training Session - Youth C only.  Open to riders who are currently competing in MTB or planning to compete in 2020/21.

About the Event

Info for Riders

NOTE - Riders are expected to bring their own bikes in good working condition, fitted with FLAT pedals.  You must also bring clipless pedals to swap over if required.

All riders must also bring a completed parental consent form (see link)

Helmets are compulsory.  Be ready to ride by 9am.

Please also bring a snack, drink and clothing suitable for the weather conditions, spare inner tubes, pump and relevant toolkit.  Café facilities available onsite.

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse your inclusion on the day if it is deemed you are not suitably dressed for the conditions.

£2.50 from your entry will be donated to the #rideforcharlie charity

Entries will close on the Thursday before the event at 11.55pm.
