Welcome to the West Suffolk Wheelers Ixwich Cycle Races at Trinity Park

West Suffolk Wheelers and Triathlon Club are promoting a seven race criterium programme  on the May bank holiday weekend. None of the local ammentieswe had at Ixworth have made it to Trinity park. In fact we will leave the village behind, but expect tight turns though, lots of sprinting and burning legs.

On line entry only. No entry on the day. No money taken on the day. No paid entry no race.

To avoid handling cash on the day, day licenses will not be available for this event. You need to be a silver or gold BC member to enter. Silver or gold members can enter and be accepted into a CAt C event without purchasing a separate day licence. 

This Event has no BC points as per BC guidlines for resumming racing.

Entries only excepted for eastern region members. Anyone from outside the Eastern region (check with BC or your licence) will not be excepted to race.

This is closed circuit race as we cannot the race in Ixworth village

The event will have electronic timing via MyLaps chips. Transponder hire included in entry price.

Mask wearing is only requested at sign on and when queuing for transponder removal. Social distancing is mandatroy. No spectators for races other than the one your racing in. You race then go. 

There is no catering provided. Personal possesions have to be carried on your person or stored in your vechicle. 

No changing facilities provided.

Do not arrive more than 1hr before your race. After you raced you need to leave as we can socialise (covid).

Covid rules mean we can run a race but not as you knew it. It is a race though.

Field size is limited to 30 riders and race length are restricted. In the youth events half the field will be reserved for girls and half for boys, if one gender does not take up their full quoter then the field will be made up of the other, however there will be a seperate result collated by the transponders. Hopefully we can offer a proper race in 2022.
