ALL ENTRIES HAVE NOW SOLD OUT! The reserve list will open at 19:30 on 01.02.2022 with only 40 places available. If you enter the reserve list, your entry fee will only be pending until you are accepted onto the event. A £1 application fee to use this facility will be taken and is non refundable.
This is a charity fund raising event in support of Norbury and Stiperstones Primary School organised by mountain bikers and friends of the school.
We very much look forward to having you all back with us for 2022 having missed a couple of years! Not knowing quite how this year is going to pan out we have decided to keep things simple and reuse some of the great trails and 'Batch's’ of the Long Mynd and all the glorious tracks it has to offer. At around 42k in length and just over 1000m of climb there will be something for everyone. Plenty of strenuous climbing, fantastic views, some fast grassy and technical single track descents plus a bit of tarmac to link it all together.
As always there will be a couple of miles of lovely quiet country lanes to warm up before starting the first challenging climb up the Long Mynd. The children will be once again stationed at the food station at the half way mark and all our grateful parents and volunteers will out be out in force to welcome you back at Event HQ with plenty of fantastic cake and tea. Our bbq will be fired up and serving hot dogs and burgers and the bar will be open!

The Organisers reserve the right to change the length of the route and to cancel if Covid makes it difficult to run.

About the Event
Info for Riders
A mass start challenge event with spot prizes given to riders chosen at random by the children. The emphasis is all about riding the best bits of the Long Mynd at your own pace with friendly marshals directing you along the way.
A good fitness level is required and off road handling skills. Minimum age 14, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
Unmodified, UK legal E bikes welcome
£31 entry fee includes:
• Full route marking and marshalling
• Mechanical support and broom wagon
• Event centre facilities and parking
• On site catering with a fantastic tea tent and bar.

There will be an additional £1 admin fee charged by British Cycling on top of our entry fee.

ALL ENTRIES HAVE NOW SOLD OUT! The reserve list will open at 19:30 on 01.02.2022 with only 40 places available. If you enter the reserve list, your entry fee will only be pending until you are accepted onto the event. A £1 application fee to use this facility will be taken and is non refundable.
This is a charity fund raising event in support of Norbury and Stiperstones Primary School organised by mountain bikers and friends of the school.
We very much look forward to having you all back with us for 2022 having missed a couple of years! Not knowing quite how this year is going to pan out we have decided to keep things simple and reuse some of the great trails and 'Batch's’ of the Long Mynd and all the glorious tracks it has to offer. At around 42k in length and just over 1000m of climb there will be something for everyone. Plenty of strenuous climbing, fantastic views, some fast grassy and technical single track descents plus a bit of tarmac to link it all together.
As always there will be a couple of miles of lovely quiet country lanes to warm up before starting the first challenging climb up the Long Mynd. The children will be once again stationed at the food station at the half way mark and all our grateful parents and volunteers will out be out in force to welcome you back at Event HQ with plenty of fantastic cake and tea. Our bbq will be fired up and serving hot dogs and burgers and the bar will be open!

The Organisers reserve the right to change the length of the route and to cancel if Covid makes it difficult to run.

About the Event
Info for Riders
A mass start challenge event with spot prizes given to riders chosen at random by the children. The emphasis is all about riding the best bits of the Long Mynd at your own pace with friendly marshals directing you along the way.
A good fitness level is required and off road handling skills. Minimum age 14, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
Unmodified, UK legal E bikes welcome
£31 entry fee includes:
• Full route marking and marshalling
• Mechanical support and broom wagon
• Event centre facilities and parking
• On site catering with a fantastic tea tent and bar.
• Free hotdog for all participants
• Feed station on route
• Event photography
• Spot prizes
• Ltd edition Batch Burner pint glass for all entrants
• £1 donation to the National Trust
There will be an additional £1 admin fee charged by British Cycling on top of our entry fee.
There will also be a raffle and T shirts for sale nearer the time. Profits to the school and Air Ambulance.
