Elgin CC invite you to our Ladies Day of racing at our flat and fast Miltonduff course. This is an inaugural event for the North East of Scotland, with the aim to encourage more ladies into the exciting world of racing.  

The "Go-Race" event starts with a coaching session at 09:45 for ladies completely new to racing. This will be in the format of verbal instruction at the venue, observation on the race circuit, feedback and then further observation.   This will be followed by a short "Taster" race of 21 miles (no BC points available) to put your skills into practice and see what it's all about.  This race will be open only to beginners and we aim to give the ladies a real race experience!

In the afternoon we have our Headliner event, a Regional B Ladies race.  Open to Cat 3/4 Senior and Junior riders.  This will be 9 full laps of our 4.3 mile course plus 3/4 of a lap, to make it a 42 mile race.  BC points for positions 1-10.

HQ is at Miltonduff Hall.  We are also hosting a "Taster" race in the morning for women new to racing, so the hall will be open all day.  Racers are very welcome to come along to support the ladies and give them a real race experience.

The coached session is a great opportunity to practice all the skills needed to take part, from riding in groups to cornering confidently, amongst others of similar ability.  

A race manual will be sent to all entrants the day after entries close.  This will provide all information of the event.
