Brighton Mitre crit races at Hove Park return for 2022.
This year we will once again be holding a 2 race series on the 10th & 24th June.
Each evening will contain the usual grouping of four races, with women's races included in the programme alongside a youth category 14-16. 
The 1km circuit (situated at the northern end of Hove Park) is a tight affair that rewards shrewd, attacking riding and good bike-handling. We will be racing the course in an anticlockwise direction. 
The circuit features a strength-sapping power climb which has its say on the final placings and is often the point of launch for successful attacks.
The races are always enjoyable to both participate in and watch and this year we will be able to once again take entries on the night subject to space available. That said this is a very popular race and we ALWAYS sell out in the men's 3/4 so get your entry in fast. All entries will be accepted at point of payment and you will be able to see the number of entrants for each Cat on the BC dashboard. 
Please note that car parking is on the residential streets around Hove Park, and that Hove train station is nearby. 
The nearest toilets are in the southern part of Hove Park (away from the race circuit) and close at 2000 

Info for Riders

Adult race fee = £16 or Youth race fee = £8.

You must have a licence in order to race. Please ensure you bring your race licence to the sign on tent for checking. If you do not have a BC licence you will need to buy a day licence. 

Adults = £26 to include your day license fee of £10 and race fee of £16.
Youths = £9.50 to include your day license fee of £1.50 and race fee of £8.

The course will be open for warm up laps until 30 minutes prior to the first race but only in between races if time allows. There are plenty of side roads to the park if you need to warm up prior to your start time.
Please try to avoid congestion at the sign-on tent by signing up in race order. If you are racing in the second race, please sign on once the first race is underway, similar for the 3rd race. Your licence will be checked and held for the duration of your race. It will be given back to you on return of your race number so don't forget to come and get it after your race.
