Round 5 of the North East Youth League sees Youth racing for all categories on closed roads around Stockton Riverside as part of the fantastic Stockton Cycling Festival.

E's, D's and C's will race up and down the length of the Riverside road, while this year the A and B route will be extended to go across the Princes Diana Bridge too.

With a packed schedule of events throughout the day with the Women's race finishing on the Riverside shortly after the youth races, as well as the popular Ride Stockton traffic free route for all, entertainment and activities in the event village and culminating with the Stockton GP later in the afternoon, there's something for everyone so why not stay and make a day of it?

Entries for this event are ONLINE ONLY. There will be no entries on the day.

The schedule is very tight so race times are provisional at present. Once entries have closed, if there are particularly low numbers in younger categories we may combine them, if it is deemed safe to do so, to be able to allow a slightly longer race time.

Proposed timings are below, and exact timings will be confirmed with entrants via email once entries have closed:

8:30-8:55 Warm-up on circuit.

9:00 Youth E (10 minutes)

9:15 Youth D (15 minutes)

9:35 Youth C (20 minutes)

(Short gap to change barriers)

10:05 Youth A&B (1 sighting lap + 30 minutes)

All riders must be clear of the circuit by 10:45 so the barriers can be reconfigured for the return of the ladies' race. 

All riders must leave the circuit as soon as they have finished their race and not do a cool down lap due to the short time between races.

All riders must be at the entrance to the circuit 5 minutes before their race time so they can roll to the start line when the last rider from the previous race has finished.

Parking and changing facilities are available for riders at Durham University Sports Centre. Further parking is available around the Riverside and Town Centre area.
