Carlisle Cycling Association in collaboration with The Ribble - rchrg RaceTeam present an afternoon of racing for Senior and Junior riders of all categories at Carlisle Cycle Circuit.

Whether you are chasing end of season points or just fancy some good quality racing in a welcoming environment come and join us for an afternoon of  friendly competition.

There will be 2 competitions each consisting of a 5km Time Trial prologue and a 1 hour  criterium.

The Regional A is race open to Cat 2,3 and 4 senior and junior males, and senior and junior females of any Category.

The National B race is open to cat E, 1, 2 and 3 senior males, cat E, 1, 2 senior females and cat 1,2,3 male juniors.

The prologue will commence at 12 noon, followed by the Regional A Circuit race and the National B race. Times given are approximate. More precise timings will depend on entry numbers and will be clarified in the race manual.

Racing will be held under British Cycling rules and technical regulations and ranking points will be awarded accordingly. Individual and Team prizes will be awarded by Ribble.

Info for Riders

Both races must be ridden on the same bike, unless mechanical failure or an accident renders this impossible, in which case a replacement may be used at the Chief Commissaire's discretion. The prologue must be ridden on a standard road bike, and modifications such as clip on tri bars are not permitted.

Covid restrictions have now ended in England, with no requirement for self isolation. However we ask that you continue to be considerate of your fellow riders and our volunteers and do not attend if you know or suspect that you have Covid-19. Please practice good hand and respiratory hygiene at all times and respect the personal space of others.

CCA is committed to your safety and well being and any changes to the Covid legislation will be followed.
