Event Overview

This is the fourth round of the Royston BMX Club Winter Series. The event is open to anyone who is a member of a BMX Club members and must be at least 4 years old to compete.

Race age is based on 2023 - YoB - eg A rider born in 2013 has a race age of 10yrs

Registration is by On Line entry only via the BC event management system and closes on the Friday at 11.30pm - entries will be confirmed early Saturday morning on Our Sqorz - https://our.sqorz.com/orgs. 

Classes are:  7 & Under     8-9 Yr.    10-11yr.   12-13Yr.      14-16yr.     17+.   Cruiser/ MTB Male and female riders race together but Male Riders may elect to ride up one class and Female Riders may ride up or down one class. PLEASE NOTE – BC BMX Regulations apply – including clothing – Long Sleeves, Long trouser, Full Face Helmets, full finger gloves. Please ensure you are aware of the Race regulations on the BC website and any national or local Covid regulations. Royston Track is in a public park so any area outside of the track perimeter comes under National Guidelines.

Directions: From the A1 turn off at Baldock and take A505 to Royston. Turn right at the second roundabout (A1198 Junction) or from M11 turn off at Duxford onto A505 to Royston and turn left at second roundabout. After the A505 roundabout, travel 100m and straight over the roundabout by the superstore and then continue 100m to next roundabout and turn left into Burns Road - signposted to School and community centre. Pass the school on the left to the roundabout and turn right. The track entrance is the first left 5m after road island. The track is usually signed by small green/yellow BMX stickers on the road signs.

Info for Riders

Cost To Race is £7 per rider per class. Saturday afternoon - Gates Open at 2.00pm (1.30 for the workers!) and check in is 2.00pm to 2.30pm racing from about 2.45pm to 4.00pm. You registration will be available on the Sqorz Race App. from Saturday morning

Also, please note there is no on day registration and moto sheets will not be displayed so please ensure you have access to wwww.oursqorz.com 

Transponders will be used for race results - if you have one please bring your bike with you to register.

Transponders will be available for hire at £2 per event and must be returned immediately after racing.
