Revolution Reliability Ride (Cancelled)

Reliability Trial , Nairn – Saturday, 11 Mar 2023

Event Summary

This event has been cancelled

Event Overview

Revolution Cycle Team would like to invite you to our first (hopefully of many) British Cycling event.

Reliability Rides are traditionally a long distance ride at the end of Winter to test your fitness, equipment and navigation skills.  Similar to an Audax, in that there are no signposts, marshals or a broom wagon, it is up to the individual to know the course or navigate from a bike computer. Reliability Rides normally give a time limit for completion, but we don’t feel that’s necessary. Choose a route and do it at your own pace.

How far?

Revolution CT caters for cyclists of all abilities so have set out a short route (36 miles with a decent amount of climbing) and a longer distance route (56 miles with quite a bit more climbing).  We will start at the beautiful Nairn beach and stop at Fornighty Hall for tea/coffee with sandwiches and cakes.

The routes will be uploaded shortly with links to Garmin Connect and Strava.  This is a non-competitive event, not a race so round up your mates, make sure your bike is in good working order (with mudguards please) and come along for a nice ride on our quiet roads with lovely views.
