Event Overview

Each Night will comprise a 3 race program including Scratch, Points, Elimination Race 

 

Entry £5 per rider - these events for youth are subsidised by WCU and Newport Live to encourage youth riders to get much needed race experience in prep for other youth racing events.

 

Sign on will open at 19:00 and close strictly at 19:40. Riders briefing is at 19:45 and racing will start immediately the briefing closes. Attendance at the riders briefing is compulsory.

 

THERE WILL NOT BE ANY TRACK WARM UP FOLLOWING THE RIDERS BRIEFING TO ENABLE US TO RUN THIS EXTENDED PROGRAM.  PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO BRING ROLLERS ETC

Youth A & B - Aimed at all experienced Youth A and B riders.

 

Youth B & C - Aimed at all Youth C riders but also for those B riders that may be newer to track racing or would like to gain more confidence racing indoor track.

 

ALL riders must have previous indoor track race experience. Coms and organiser can and will make changes to programme and riders groups if safety is a concern. Rider will be unable to race if the they show signs of dangerous riding. 

 

An efficient program relies on volunteers, officials AND riders being in the right place at the right time so please pay close attention to race briefings and timings.
