Edinburgh RC youth section is proud to promote this event in honour of Ben Forsyth.

Ben was the first ERC Junior winner of a British Championship Circuit Race in 2013.

All these circuit races will be for male and female youths, with the Youth A boys competing for the Ben Forsyth Trophy.

The event is held in support of CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and its screening events.

Donations can be made direct to https://www.c-r-y.org.uk/ben-forsyth/.

This fund will be used to arrange CRY sessions, with the target of annual screenings in Scotland.

About the Event

Information for riders

The day consists of races for all youth categories

The races are held in memory of the former ERC rider who won the British Youth Circuit Race Championship. A collection will be made in aid of the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (https://www.c-r-y.org.uk).

No entries on the day of the race.

Day licenses

Online Day licence payments request of £1.50 will be sent to non-Race licence holders after the fields have been finalised.

Youth bikes

For U8s, U10s and U12s any roadworthy bike can be used. For U12s a road bike is recommended. All U14 and U16 competitors must use a road bike. Volunteers will be on hand to ensure bikes will comply with the standard British Cycling gear restriction, your kids will race.
