Event Overview

A 2 hour cycling coaching session for under 12s who can already confidently ride a bike. This will help them develop and improve their skills and confidence. It will introduce them to basic mountain bike trail features and give them the skills and confidence to ride Perry's Trail at Cannock Chase. We will practice techniques on the Pedal & Play Trail, before putting them into practice on Perry's Trail. Bikes and helmets are available to borrow if required, free of charge.

Suitable for - Riders aged 6-12 who are confident riding a bike. 

Cycling Disciplines Covered - Mountain Biking

What to Expect - Event will build on and practise off road skills with lots of riding. We will mix skills with trail riding. We will ride on easy trails and the ‘Pedal and Play’ trail and aim to progress to riding the blue Perry’s Trail.

Bring a drink and a snack.

Please Bring – A bike suitable for riding off road, such as a mountain bike. A helmet and gloves. Bikes and helmets are available to borrow if required. Please contact mattblythe@britishcycling.org.uk to book bike and/or helmet loan.

Meet by the trail information boards in front of Go Ape.
