A race evening on 31st March at Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales for A category (E/1/2/3/Juniors), B category (3/4/Youth), Masters 35 years+
NB: The riders in each race category are at the discretion of the organisers.

Race nights are Friday evenings, racing starts at 7.30pm:

- 31st March
- 19th May
- 9th June
- 23rd June

These are a series of events, series points will be allocated for every race and series cash prizes will be awarded to the top 6 riders in each race series.

BC Points:

BC Points allocated for all Scratch and Points races.

This evenings race program:

- 7.5km (30 laps) Scratch Race Masters
- Unknown distance or dash Masters
- 10 km (40 laps) Points Race Masters
- 5km (20 laps) Scratch Race B cats
- Unknown distance or dash B cats
- 7.5 km (30 laps) Points Race B cats
- 10km (40 laps) Scratch Race A cats
- Unknown distance or dash A cats
- 15 km (60 laps) Points Race A cats

* All race distance are subject to change due to any delays in the racing

Prizes:

- Cash Series Prizes for each race category, total prize pot is over £1500:
- £300 cash to the winner of the series
- £100 cash to 2nd place
- £50 cash to 3rd place
- £30 cash to 4th place
- £20 cash to 5th place
- £15 cash to 6th place
- Best placed rider in each category on the night over the 3 races gets free entry into a later round of their choice and a 73 Degrees Bicycle Shop Voucher.

Entry fees:

- All entries are taken through the British Cycling online entry system for all races.
- Online Entry will close the day before the event at 8pm.
- Places in all races are available on a first come-first served basis and there is no guarantee of the availability of Day Entries.
- For riders who have a full race licence: £15 + £1 booking fee. The Day Entry fee will be £20.
- For riders who have a Silver/Gold BC membership but only provisional race licence the entry fees include paying for a day licence to race: £20 + £1 booking fee. The Day Entry fee will be £25.
- For riders who don't have a BC membership the entry fees include paying for a day licence to race: £25 + £1 booking fee. The Day Entry fee will be £30.

Info for Riders

An efficient program relies on volunteers, officials and riders being in the right place at the right time so please pay close attention to race briefings and timings.

There will be a rider briefing at 7.15pm.  Every rider must attend that rider briefing.

There will be no time to warm up on the track, bring your rollers/turbos.  There is a Veterans training session beforehand 6-7.30pm if you would like to book onto that session through Newport Live.
