Downhill mountain bike race on the Hart Trail at Lanhydrock in Cornwall. The race is designed as an entry level race for new people to the sport of mountain biking, particularly the discipline of downhill. Entry open to all from beginner to expert.

Info for Riders

Race will take place on the Hart Trail at Lanhydrock. Parking will be free. Please display ticket given to you at sign on. 

For parking, please use the postcode PL30 4AB and follow the brown signs for Lanhydrock. Larger vehicles may be better off following the coach parking signs as the entrance is wider.

Please honour your entry, as you may be taking the opportunity away from someone else who wants to race.

Full face helmets are compulsory. Other protective equipment (elbow pads, knee pads, back protector, goggles, gloves) are strongly advised.

Unfortunately, ebikes are not permitted, as they are not covered by British Cycling insurance.

Riders get two race runs each with the best time counting towards their finishing position. There is a practice session in the morning for riders to learn the track. Each rider must complete two full runs to be able to race.

Time table for the day.

7:00 - 9:00: Track open for on foot inspection

8:00 - 10:00: Sign on

9:00 - 11:30: Practice

12:00 - 16:00 (approximate finish): Race runs 

Toilet facilities are available by the car park at the main hub, there are no portaloos near the track itself

Medical 

Paramedic Medical Cover will be provided, both on course and from an identifiable Base Station in the event arena. 

Catering 

There is an onsite café providing fresh hot and cold food and refreshments.

Refunds

No Refunds. All sales are non-refundable. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honoured for the next event date. If the event is cancelled, all purchases will be refunded in full. Purchases may not be transferred to another person.
