The organisers of the Junior Tour of Wales are pleased to bring you this event in 2023, forming part of the British Cycling National U23 Men’s Road Race Series.

We look forward to providing you with a challenging 117km race based on the circuit used for the Cadence Junior Road Race in south Powys

Info for Riders

• This event has a max field size of 100 riders. 
• U23 Men’s Road Series - open to Elite, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Category U23 male members holding a Full Racing Licence.
• 4th Category U23 riders are NOT eligible to compete in the U23 Men’s National Series.
• Foreign nationals aged U23 holding recognised UCI competition licences may also participate in events within the U23 Men’s Road Series and take any series points and prizes earned but will not qualify for any overall awards.
• All entries must be submitted via the British Cycling Online Event Management System. Entries to the event will remain open with all entries left as Pending until the published closing date.
• The closing date is set at three (3) weeks prior to the event. Rider selection and final classification will be by individual rider only, the series will not have a team classification.
• Maximum team representation will be limited to 6 riders per team and team substitutions strictly prohibited – any rider withdrawing after the closing date or failing to start may NOT be replaced by another rider from the same team.
• Team Managers must advise which riders they are prioritising/nominating at least 48hrs before the closing date
• For safety reasons NO Team Cars are permitted in the convoy of this race. Three Neutral Service Vehicles will be provided and a designated pits area established on the circuit.
