Course Description: BC10/314:

START on east side of A162, at southern gate-post to entrance to Council Depot, approximately 0.3 miles north of Towton. Proceed south, via Towton and Barkston Ash, to Sherburn north T.I.(3.45 mls) Take 1st exit, left, still on A162, straight on at next island to turn at the island junction with the B1222.(4.62 mls). Encircle island, and retrace outward route via Sherburn north T.I. towards Towton. At junction with B1217, (8.95 mls).turn left and continue for approx. 1 mile to FINISH at mark on road approx.10yds west of junction with Cotchers Lane (on left).(10 miles)

RIDERS PLEASE BE WARNED
• Dangerous riding causes accidents and could endanger the future of the sport
• Remain on the correct, left hand side, of the road especially on the corners
• Please ride with your head up at all times - observe the Highway Code
• Give way or stop when required to do so. Observe the local regulations pertinent to the course
• Avoid unnecessary U-turns in the road, even when warming up
• After finishing your ride please continue and return to HQ
• No times will be given at the finish – please do not stop and ask the timekeeper
