Event Summary

Event Overview

Welcome to Ride North Norfolk.  We have quiet country routes to suit everyone.  We are a community organised ride in our twelfth year and we are still going strong.

This year we have our popular routes ranging through 15, 25, 36, 66 (100k), and 102 miles.

Go local. We are a locally organised but professionally run cycle ride.  We pride ourselves on our community involvement and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Where possible we use local companies, local clubs, locally sourced produce and cakes.  Everyone is welcome to join us to enjoy our beautiful town and its surrounding countryside. You can ride just for  fun or to support your own charity or our official charity.

Ride North Norfolk is an enjoyable; non-competitive sportif, starting from the picturesque North Norfolk market town of Fakenham and goes through some of the best, gentle cycling routes in the country. It is the culmination of an exciting nine days of activities in and around the town.

There are various options (approximate lengths) 15 miles, 25 miles, 36 miles 66 miles (100k).  Or combine for 102 miles.  Each rider will be provided with a branded drawstring “goodie” bag,  souvenir water bottle, medal on completion, insurance, a map, signage, registration, marshals, mobile mechanics, support, rescue service, drinks and refreshments (including our famous homemade flapjack) on route, advice and information.

Download files will be available, and maps will be given to all riders. We have been told that our arrows and signage make these unnecessary and are clear to follow.

Music, massage and nourishment at the community centre and gardens, including hot food, stalls, massage, 1st aid, activities, drink and music and more cakes.  This is open to both riders and non-riders.  We have free parking nearby

See Active Fakenham website, Facebook or Twitter for more details

A brilliant event, everyone from the volunteers signing you in, to the drinks stop helpers to the competitors were friendly and welcoming, not always the case at cycling events. It really felt like an event for all. Thank you

Aesthetica
