Event Summary

Event Overview

Elgin Cycle Club would like to invite you to our second reliability ride with two distances on offer.

A reliability ride is known as a test of a cyclist’s reliability and that of their bike coming out of the winter period.

The emphasis is on fitness, self-reliance and navigational skills,  great way to get in some early season miles and work on your base endurance.

There will be no marshals, or a broom wagon, it is up to the individual to know the course or navigate from bike computer.

How Far

Finechtie for an affa fine piece shorter route approx. 70km

A muckle cycle to Finechtie longer route approx. 100 km

We start at Grant Lodge Cooper Park Elgin with refreshments of coffee, tea, breakfast roll and fancy piece by a local pop up café in the lovely village of Findochty, which is provided in the entry fee.

Routes will be uploaded nearer the event with links to Garmin Connect and Strava this is a non-competitive event, not a race. Get all your cycling buddies together to explore scenic Moray.

Make sure your Bike is in good working order.
