VELO CLUB LONG EATON Reliability Trials 50 or 72 miles.

PROCEEDS WILL BE USED TO SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITIES. 

Registration opens 8:30am.  Plank and Leggitt, Sawley, NG10 3RD.

£5 entry fee. Card Payment on the day.  ALL riders are welcome. 

A digital certificate will be issued within 24 hours upon completion of the ride(s).

80km Sawley - Aston - Swarkestone - Ingelby - Repton - Willington - Hilton - Foston - Lanes to Radbourne - Mickleover - Findern - Stenson Fields - Swarkestone - Aston - Sawley

112km Sawley - Aston - Swarkestone - Willington - Hilton - Hatton - Scropton - Sudbury - Doveridge - Lanes to Ashbourne - Kniveton - Wirksworth - Duffield - Holbrook - West Hallam - Dale Abbey - Risley - Breaston - Sawley

About the Event

Info for Riders

These rides are a test of self reliance, fitness and navigational ability. It is for the rider to ensure their bicycle is road worthy, that they can deal with road side issues and are able to follow a predesignated route. 

Enter the event by choosing your distance and preferred start time via the club website www.vclongeaton.com

Entries on the day will be accepted.

GPS route available via the website. Route sheet, if required, available on the day.

£5 entry fee. Pay on the day (card preferred). Parental consent forms, if applicable, to be filled in on the day.

Parking available. Toilets. Refreshments. Please support the pub by buying food/drinks.

Registration at the Plank and Leggitt is from 8:30am. 72 mile starts 9am onwards. 50 mile starts 9:30am on.

Control closes 4:30pm.

There is no on road assistance available.

In the event of being unable to complete the ride or deciding to divert straight home riders MUST let HQ know by call/text to 07742454951.

Inclement weather may jeopardise the event so look out for notification on the website / Facebook.

Finally, if your not a member, consider joining the club!  3 club rides a week, an established Time Trial/Racing calendar, Cyclo-Cross events and an existing membership with in depth cycling knowledge.
