The fourth London BMX Talent Development Centres (TDCs) will be on Sunday 18th February, 10am-2pm at Peckham BMX. 

Info for Riders

Talent Development Centres focus on developing skills of BMX racers who are aiming to progress along the British Cycling Talent Development Pathway. More information on TDCs and the Talent Development Pathway can be found here.

  Each TDC will compromise of two sessions:

• Session 1 - 10-12 year olds
• Session 2 - 13-15 year olds

These sessions will be a great way for helping London BMX Club riders develop their skills and utlising the great resources in coaches and facilities that we have in the city.    These sessions are for coach recommended riders who are:

• Showing promise and will benefit from the dev centre environment.
• Regional riders progressing from motos at regional level, aspiring to or already racing at national level.
• Showing a keenness to develop and improve.
• Showing that they can and are practicing some skills e.g. flat ground manuals, bunny hops etc; However, the TDCs are here to support and encourage riders and their clubs/coaches to work on these kinds of skills.
• Riders showing maturity and who are keen to be coached.
• Riders already attending RSRs (Regional Schools of Racing, then next step in the Talent Pathway) are also invited and encouraged to attend. 
• Riders accessing these sessions should not already be accessing TDCs in another area/region. 

TDCs will cost £15 per rider. There will be at least three coaches from London BMX clubs at each TDC, and we have spaces for up to 32 riders per session.
